Austin Concrete Countertop Installation

Recent Review: Rooms were completely remodeled from floor to ceiling. Kitchen ceiling was raised. All existing drywall was removed. New drywall was textured and painted. Attic was reinsulated above kitchen and dining room. New cabinets were installed. Floor and backsplash were installed with porcelain tile. New sink, garbage disposal, and quartz countertop was installed. Ceiling and under counter lighting was added. Pantry door and all wood molding was replaced. All plumbing and electrical work was included. Cabinets, tile, sink, and countertops were purchased separately from contract but for the amount of materials, time, and effort involved in the remodel, I'm very satisfied with the cost and result. Eric is very skilled, knowledgeable, helpful with many of my decisions with color and design. I would definitely use him in any future projects.

Recent Review: He did such a beautiful job and was so dependable with my Houston home in 2008, I commissioned Mr. Garcia to modify my new Austin home in November, 2010. Due to the fact that Mr. Garcia has a lot of pride in his work, he typically has one job going at a time so he was very available to answer all questions, plus he oversees his crew to make sure they are performing to his high standards. With my short timeframe for the Austin job, he had up to 15 people working here at the house that he had to supervise. I consider Mr. Garcia to be a master craftsman and someone I can depend on for various handyman-type issues, too. Recent Review: M G Floors was very helpful in putting together a coordinated look for updating a home. They installed tile and carpet throughout the home. They replaced an old countertop with a beautiful new granite countertop complete with a sink. They coordinated with the painter by doing the tear-out first, letting the painter do his job, then returning to complete the installation. I've worked with many companies in the past, and this one is one of the best. The work was perfect. The tile was installed in perfect lines, even down long halls, with no chips, or cracks. Grout lines were small, just as we requested. The counter top installation was flawless. They ran into some minor problems hooking up the stove, but did not charge more for the extra parts needed. They adjusted the vent ducts to give more room under the stovetop than what was originally there. The owner came out to inspect the job and made sure we were completely satisfied. The work was better than ever expected. The house sold in one day after being put on the market. Their crew was polite and professional.

Recent Review: Scott and Carol were very responsive to all of our needs and concerns. Whenever there was a problem, they stood by their work and rectified the situation. The charges were exactly as bid and any corrections did not incur additional cost on our part.

Recent Review: They did arrive late to the appointment due to weather and traffic. However they were knowledgable and explained thier plan of attack. They also warned us about the slight weakening of the outside edge of the granite with the 3/4" and that it could crack under excessive weight (before they cut). They even took the time to suggest some additional support we could install to help offset some weight via the cabinets below the sink. The did a good job of cleaning up the workspace, but as expected, we will be cleaning up granite dust for a few weeks as it all settles. I felt the quote was a bit high, but considering they were willing to come the next day and a Saturday at that, I was okay with paying a little extra. Not to mention they responded within minutes of submitting for quote. Still have not heard back from the other four vedors I requested quotes from.

The installers were very efficient, professional, and neat. I would definitely recommend AGS for anyone needing granite work done!

Recent Review: I especially appreciated his honesty. I thought I would have to replace my cabinet doors, but he suggested keeping the doors; just needed some TLC. Wow! A contracter trying to save me money!

Recent Review: We thought the estimate was kind of high and we have another contractor giving us an estimate. He seemed to be fairly knowledgeable and eager to please. What we didn't like was that nothing is broken down whatsoever; it was just one big glob and we have nothing to compare with. It was two granite countertops with the sinks under mounted and one frameless shower. There were no cabinets or bathtubs. It seems way high for those two things.

He manufactured all the countertops (all with under-mount sinks) and backsplashes for our kitchen, wet bar, and 4 bath vanities. He was very conscientious about where to place the seams required for our 14 foot kitchen island & made sure that all the cabinets were perfectly level before & after installing the countertops. Recent Review: Fox Granite was fantastic to work with! Greg Fox visited our home with granite samples, took measurements, and provided estimate. One week later, his brother Stan emailed us to schedule installation appointment. The following week, we had beautiful new granite countertops installed; Professional & efficient workmen (Jesse = crew chief) were done in about 2 hours.
