They did a great job. They installed an elevator and a brand new kitchen. It was quite expensive but it was within the price range that they had quoted us.

O & M Plumbing Services Inc

It went great. The owner Ben came out personally to do the work along side his technicians. They were clean and didn't cause any damage to existing fixtures in my mobile kitchen. This is hard to avoid when you know how tiny and small a mobile kitchen really is. They had everything with them to do the work and completed the job on time as they promised

STOLLE ELECTRIC TECL 21964
5.0
Mr. Stolle was recommended by another Angie's List provider who wasn't a licensed electrician. He came promptly (the same day I called, a Friday before a long weekend) and was quick to diagnose the problem and get us up and running. As it turned out, one outlet on the circuit had come loose, he reconnected it, and we were up and running in no time. I recommend him without reservation and with gratitude

Very good. "Jason" arrived on time and seems to have very good skills in all kinds of repairs. He was pleasant and performed all work satisfactorily. Well worth the cost for two hours of handyman services.

PHILLIP D SHURTLEFF
5.0
Mr. Shurtleff is honest, trustworthy, and highly skilled in a wide variety of skills, ranging from plumbing and electrical work, to construction. He has his own mobile workshop, and can produce an entire woodworking shop on your premises. No job is too small for him. He will tell you immediately if your project is beyond his capabilities or if your money would be better spent calling in a specialist. He is easy to get along with, friendly and affable. I recommend him with great pleasure

Mr. Handyman of NW Austin

It all went fantastically well, even though practically all of my assumptions were riddled with inaccuracies. This was my first experience with remodeling - so my preparedness and expectations were all over the place. However, these guys were so skilled and so nice that I was not disturbed by the surprises that are intrinsic with such undertakings. Actually I felt all of the proposed resolutions to these problems were discussed and taken seriously - even mine (me being a total troglodyte when it comes to such things). Each and every person involved with this project took the time to explain the process and answered my concerns thoroughly. They were all quite trustworthy, honest, punctual and knowledgeable. And what I appreciated most was/is that they were/are all genuine. It felt like I met some more of my relatives!! From the moment I met with Greg, the President of this Mr. Handyman, to saying good-bye to the last Technician, I felt very comfortable and pleased with my dealings with this group. I will definitely contract them again and have no reservations whatsoever to refer them to others. .....oh and they were very clean, even vacuuming each time after they worked. I now have absolutely no dread in pursuing other projects in my home

JMD Roofing and Remodeling Co

They didn’t do the work because they couldn’t do the type of work that I needed. He recommended one of the carpenters who works for him. He asked for half of the money up front, but I haven’t seen him since. He did about three hours of work where he tore things out and put it in my front yard, and then he just left it. This company employs people who are thieves. I don’t know if it is totally fair to give the entire company an F, but they have dishonest people in their employ

21st Century Painting & Roofing LLC
5.0
We would NOT have survived this project if not for 21st Century Painting and Roofing and the continual support from Gary Gibreal. Our plan was to have the remodel completed before moving from Tucson, but as things worked out, we had to live in a guestroom of the home throughout the complete remodel. Gary coordinated with all of the other tradesmen and was the major factor in maintaining order throughout the project. The finished product is of the highest quality and completed with the least amount of pain possible to us, the property owners. Besides the quality of workmanship, Gary is in constant communication with his clients from the ?mobile office? within the cab of his truck. He has embraced technology which allows him to respond immediately to email and telephone calls and track the progress of his various crews. His crews are respectful, proficient and CLEAN UP THEIR MESS as they go. As much as we are glad to have the initial project behind us, we miss the interaction with 21st Century Painting and Roofing , its owner Gary Gibreal and its wonderful group of workers. This is a GREAT company to work with and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone

Mr. Handyman of NW Austin

On the day of the service, the technician showed up early, but without the address being registered on his mobile application and unable to rectify the situation. He seemed at a loss of what to do without the app guiding him and he had to revert to (horror!) using pen and paper to take notes, based on what other reports for other houses were showing. The inspection was very basic, pretty much a walk around the house with visual inspection inside and outside. The report came 2 weeks later, without pictures, showing the wrong house image and address, without color coding of findings or levels of gravity. In short, disappointing service (although more a reflection on the Home Checkup product, than on the technician or company). Unless you are 80y.o. and unable to bend to look under the sinks and walk around the house, or unable to visit the property, you are better off doing it yourself

Morningstar Landscaping & Construction Inc.
5.0
After reading stellar reviews on Morningstar Landscaping, I contacted Jodi because I am limited in my mobility due to back issues, but love and miss gardening. She came out for a consultation which was about 45 minutes, and had great ideas on building raised stone planters so I can comfortably sit and garden without hurting myself. Her crew was extremely respectful and cleaned everyday. Jodi definitely prides herself in her work, and seemed to really understand and care about my physical limitations. She educated me on what a Horticulture Therapist is, and come to find out, they offer more services than I knew. I had them install some outdoor lights and 2 electrical outlets in addition to the masonry work. She planted initial plants for now, because it’s still u predictable weather, but is coming back in the Spring to help me plant more, and teach me about the care. Jodi and her crew did a fantastic job, and were very caring people who also made me laugh for the duration of this project. Will use again for sure

Austin Creative Builders Inc

It went very well, except for a problem that I caused. Access to the house is limited as it is on a very steep slope. I had secured a verbal easement from the golf course behind me to allow a trailer to pass through to deliver materials and take away debris. Of course, the verbal agreement fell through. Ralph was very very patient with me as I worked to resolve the issue. Moral is to always get third party agreements in writing, before you tie up contractor

AC Cornerstone Bld LLC

I have very high standards for contractors and service providers. I'm typically disappointed and underwhelmed. Allan and his team are a rare exception. They did an exceptional job and delivered exactly what they committed to. Highlights of the experience included: Great design that fit our needs Very high attention to detail Professionalism throughout the design and build Fair, open, and honest bidding (Allan will detail out every cost and stick to his estimates) Change orders were handled professionally and cooperatively Job site was left clean and organized at the end of each day I would absolutely recommend AC Cornerstone to anyone looking for custom remodels and builds

The plan started with a meeting, and from that, the owner Allan put together a plan with two possible roof elevations. Once I selected one, the slab was poured. Weather delays then set in, so there was a two week gap before the work began. Once the work started, the demolition of the old roof was done in a day, and the beams were set in soon after. Most of the work involved the construction of the new roof to match the contour of the old roof, and to build a ceiling that matched the existing deck ceiling. Once this was done, the ornamental beams were set in and the railing was done. I appreciated the professionalism of the A.C. Cornerstone crew; I work out of my house, and while no construction job is quiet, there was no loud talk or radio blasting during their construction activities to disturb my own work. Also, at the end of every day, tools and materials were neatly stacked and the deck was swept and construction debris was removed. I felt that issues (and there were a few) were communicated in a timely matter, and solved to my satisfaction. As far as the quality of the work, I am very pleased. The appearance of the deck is as if it was designed as part of the house; Paint and stain were carefully matched to the existing appearance of the original deck. Shingles were matched to the existing roof as well. As for the railings, A.C. Cornerstone cut the pieces of the deck, stained them before assembly, and then stained the entire deck after assembly
If you are thinking of investing your time and money getting your floors replaced then you want to get it right the first time. We replaced well over 3000 sq/ft of flooring and after some exhaustive research chose to go with Robert and Julie Peoples who are the owners of Peoples Signature Flooring. We are so happy that we made that choice. Not only are Robert and Julie outstanding to work with but their long-time employees are masters of their trade. We were so impressed with their professionalism and courtesy - arriving and leaving on schedule, leaving their work space meticulously clean every day and did I mention their skills? Wow! Stairs are often the focal point of the home so if you are thinking of getting them done ask Robert about 'rebuilding your stairs' including the starter stair. I couldn't find anybody else that does what he does. Absolute magic
Our Promise To You
"We promise to provide you and your family with only the necessary auto repair work, with quality products, done well, finishes on time and at a fair and honest price, with all of our work guaranteed".
We wanted to get some minor repairs done on our tile roof prior to selling the house this coming Spring. And I was reluctant to get up on the roof myself as it is fairly steep pitch and I had fallen from a step ladder a few weeks before - entirely my fault and I realized a fall from the roof would be much worse. We elected to go with 512 Roofs as a professional roofing firm as opposed to a handyman service so the job would be performed to highest standards. Unfortunately, we ended up having to buy many more tiles (50) than we needed (6) and have them shipped in from out of state since these tiles were reportedly not available anywhere else. This certainly raised the price by hundreds of dollars, and the labor costs for 512 Roofs were a lot higher than a local handyman service we were considering. We knew that going in, so no surprises. Our biggest disappointment was in 1) scheduling - we kept getting pushed out when another job came along; and 2) in getting 512 Roofs to do what we asked - they always had a reason why they couldn't do some minor work, even when offered to pay extra. Not sure I would use them again for a smaller repair job as they were much more focused on bigger $$ projects, which they are probably quite capable of
