The Missing Piece Design

I first hired Brandy Anderman, Owner and Designer at the Missing Piece Design to help me with some home de-cluttering and organization. She worked extremely fast and within my budget and timeline. For some of the projects she worked as a turn-key expert, working while I was out of town (so nice to come back to an organized garage) and for others we worked together (like de-cluttering my closet). Tasks that I had dreaded became fun! From small tasks to big projects she is always extremely easy to work with, professional, flexible, has great communications skills and the prices are very affordable. The next project was to organize my son's bedroom. It is amazing what Brandy did to that room only with moving existing furniture pieces and as far as I can remember I only purchased 1 chair. The rest Brandy organized and decorated using existing items but the impact was great! The room looked bigger, better put together and organized! I am currently remodeling my home and Brandy has also started helping me with personal shopping projects and home decorating for this big project. She takes time to understand my vision and has great ideas. She is helping me with everything from bedroom decorating to researching and choosing flooring and wall paint options. She is very good at keeping in touch and will text me photos when she comes across an item that would work with my home. Text back shopping! Could not be easier! I never thought of myself as someone who would hire a *decorator* or a *personal shopper*. I am not a millionaire or a movie star, but working with Brandy has changed my perspective. I realize that in the long run, I am saving lots of time, money and effort by having her do what she does best, quickly, efficiently and within budget and we are having fun to boot

I purchased the Angie's list home organizing deal. The company called me and tried to schedule but I was out of town so I called them when I returned. Then they were unavailable so we tried to schedule again. The man who I was emailing with was rude and he completely crossed the line. Then he kept asking for my ph# and address but because of how he was acting I wasn't comfortable giving it to him. He then googled me and found out I volunteered for a children's shelter so he called there and demanded they give him my info!! I was furious that he went that far and crossed the line to try and reach me when he could have just emailed. I am most definitely not comfortable with him in my home after all of that so I would like a refund

I cannot overstate how helpful Angelica is! She made wrangling my 10 year old daughter's room so painless and easy- my daughter is loving her fresh room without the clutter of excess toys and I'm loving not having to repeat myself "clean your room. clean your room. clean your room." Jo Martin is a miracle worker!! After 20+years & 4 kids my family room had become a very disorganized & mismatched space. Jo and her crew came in and made that space something beautiful! We’ve used Auxiliary Mom on three separate occasions. She helped us unbox, declutter, and organize our garage in two days. She also helped “reinvent” our office. Her eye for how to open up a room and make it functional is superb. Each experience was exceptional. She’s professional and competent and we plan on using her again in the near future. I can’t wait to have her assistance in organizing my pantry, revising our living room and tweaking our daughter’s bedroom. You will not regret having her as a sidekick to completing your home to do list! P.S. She was also pretty amazing at helping out with my daughter’s themed food trays and decor for her birthday party!!

Working with Dixco was amazing! The idea of “exposing” the hidden closets of chaos and clutter in the house felt uncomfortable, HOWEVER never was there a moment while working with them that I felt anything other than support. The team members (especially the founder) really has a desire to achieve your goals that would best suit your individual family needs. We’ve done two spaces, the kitchen and my office and I can’t wait to bring them back for more. Hands down Dixco is an amazing team who really knows how to bring some order and create spaces that work for you. I’m grateful for the impact it has had to have them come and bring order into spaces that was not as functional as they could have been

Susan Wade is a LIFESAVER! My family and I prefer calling her "SUNSHINE SUSAN" as she makes our home and spirits BRIGHTER every time she works with us. As working parents with a a 6-person household in a small 3/2 home, we constantly struggle with the daily challenge of clutter and staying organized. We started our relationship with Susan a few years ago and SO appreciate her non-judgmental, focused, efficient, and motivating work-style. She does not try to over psychoanalyze us, but rather helps our family to make decisions and stay on task. We had not worked with Susan for a couple of years, but I realized a few months ago that we needed to work with her again to get back on track. I contacted her via text and she promptly responded. And yes, the SUNSHINE came out again when she arrived at our home. In fact, our kids were super excited to see her and they were SO shocked with the progress that we made during a four-hour session. I rarely get my nails done or get a massage, I see Susan as my pamper me sessions that rid myself of the stress and anxiety that comes from having a cluttered and disorganized home. She also helps you save money when you can finally find what you already own instead of going out and buying the same item. She will haul away your donations and even recycled trash too when she leaves. Susan, thank you for bringing peace, joy, and organization back to our family. We still have more work to do in our house (and the dreaded garage!), but the progress we made in 5-6 sessions allowed us to host Thanksgiving, Christmas and a holiday dinner party with friends plus have a playdate all because "Sunshine Susan" helped us get our home organized and presentable once again. I can't say THANK YOU enough!!
I was delighted with the two young women who helped me with organizing. They lined shelves, moved boxes, put things in the garage, and put things away in the kitchen. It was just what I needed, and they were good help. The two who came the next day to clean were also industrious and self-motivated. In each case, one person on the team spoke English. It is easy to reach the company, and payment was made by credit card
The process was seamless with Clozetivity! They came out, showed up on time, I got the design, made a few tweaks and ordered. My closet is so much more usable now!!! And it’s organized, highly recommend.
Ashley is extremely passionate about what she does. She responds in a timely manner and is always quick to have different suggestions. I had her decorate one of the bedrooms in my home and she did a fantastic job.
Overall, Noa's work was excellent. She accomplished what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. It took a while to get an appointment because she had recently offered a Groupon which had a high response rate but it was worth the wait.
OM should be renamed OMG because Karie jumped in with very little direction and started unpacking, organizing and setting a strategy for where to put everything and it was all so much better than I would have done. She even brought some of her own organization containers that I could reimburse her for, because she knows what most kitchens need. That was just day 1. She advised built in drawers for our cabinets, containers and hangers....all things to make us super organized. On Day 2, I bought a block of hours because I knew I wanted her expertise with the whole house. She has helped me do research online for furnishings, gone to the paint store with me, and next - Ikea! She helps me so much because she understands our style and our budget and has been a really awesome and fun partner to work with on this nesting process. I don't know how I could juggle this all with my work during the day and make the progress we've made without Karie. She is very humble and won't tell you that she's currently an art professor and a graphic designer in her past life, and she has a great design aesthetic! She's punctual, easy going, great with follow up, and proactive to make suggestions. She's not waiting for me to manage her. As a type A business person who is super busy and has a pretty clear sense of my design, she has helped me elevate my game, and inspired me to think differently, one idea at a time. I feel like she's added jet fuel to our home nesting process. I forgot to mention she has an arsenal of contractors to help with installation, which is especially helpful for those of us new to town. Ms. Dotte did a beautiful job. Not a spot of paint on anything but the walls. The ceiling edges and baseboards are perfectly clean. She is a total professional and I am very satisfied.
It couldn't have gone any better. Holly, the owner, and Chappell, my organizer, are both incredible young women with lots of energy and lots of know-how. I cannot say enough about the company and the service.

This project was a disaster. Countless items were lost. The owner fought with me when I raised concerns and only after a lot of back and forth, finally reimbursed me. I continue to realize missing items, but I cannot deal with her anymore. There's more. When organizing, they never consulted me on preferences and spent hundreds of dollars on bins and buckets, labeling, e.t.c. including putting hooks on doors in my rental (which when removed took off paint). When I saw my kitchen, I was shocked to see I'd purchased most of Target's inventory when my cabinets were just fine without. I had to undo that and redo everything without useless items. I spent a ridiculous amount of time dealing with their poor decisions, getting restitution, and simply dealing with the owner's defensive, aggressive approach to customer service. The cherry on the top? She offered me money to not leave a bad review

I guess I wasn’t pleased with them much and the guy was okay but there was no report between us. I had to kind of fight with him to get him done what I wanted to get done. He did good work though. Eventually it took a while to warm up and try and help me do what I needed to do. But once he did, he was helpful though it was a slow start.
