Recent Review: Very happy with final result. Matthew Lorand Roofing & Restoration was a great partner for my home repair and upgrade vision, and I highly recommend them for roofing, gutters, and restoration work. I had a lengthy list of home repairs and improvements, and I didn't want the headache of evaluating and tracking multiple contractors. Fortunately, Matthew Lorand Roofing & Restoration was able to do everything I asked (Note: again, they don't do insulation, but they worked with me on the timing of cutting out access hole for that insulation upgrade to the normally inaccessible attic space). The crew supervisor occasionally pointed out issues with the ongoing repairs or additional things I may want to repair/replace, but I never felt upsell pressure. Issues: After repairs were completed, I noticed some problems with the back door's sweep. They came out within a few days and fixed the problem. Similar experience with the roof gutters. They always listened and patiently worked with me to make things right. Some days, the crew had left before I had a chance to review the work and point out any issues. If I had specifically asked them to give me a heads-up, I'm sure they would have done that. So that's partially on me. Again, they were very responsive to follow-up repairs, but if it is important to you to review things before they leave, I recommend that you specifically ask for that notice.

Recent Review: Overall the experience was good. I had four estimates and with the 20% discount this estimate was in the middle. Mike Connors described himself as a minimalist meaning that he would do any work I wanted but he would always ask why to see if there was a more economical way to do it. Another company just gave me the estimate but Mike explained why the extra cost would not improve on the energy savings I wanted versus doing something smaller to accomplish the same results. They use 2 work crews - one for the siding installation and one for the painting. Both crews were professional and cleaned up afterward.

Recent Review: We opted to go ahead and get new windows, siding, fascia board and roof. We had new vinyl, low E Simonton Windows installed. One window was a new cut in..and another was made larger than it was originally. All windows were installed in two days. Next came the siding. The crew arrived around 9 each day and worked until 8pm. It was discovered that our walls had little to no insulation in them. So new insulation was added. We decided to go with Hardi board Siding...and we are glad we did....looks like a new house. New Fascia board was included....soffit's were in good shape. The roof had a couple of issues....3 deck panels had to be replaced and some reinforcing of rafters was necessary. This was handled by the crew and explained to us by the crew chief. The rood included a ridge line vent and looks wonderful. The roofing system we chose comes with a 30 year warranty and is transferable. The last thing to occur was painting....all went well. Do - get everything in writing. Do be patient. Do ask questions. The crew picked up everyday as best they could. After all it was a major construction zone for a few weeks. Would I call roofcrafters again? YES
