Cedar Park Overhead Doors

2 of 4 panels were dented upon arrival. They offered to install the new door panels temporarily and then return with 2 new panels, as they had already removed the old garage door. Making the situation worse, they installed the new panels using the old brackets, mounts and even the bolts. Despite spending $1,500 they chose to use the 20-year old rusted hardware already in place rather than using the new ones that came with the newly purchased door. Lazy. Now they are dragging their feet on replacing the dented door panels. Nice people during sales process, but incredibly unreliable follow-through. They seem to have forgotten who the customer is

Precision Garage Door of Austin

Doors did not come on time and when they did they were not the doors we ordered. They expedited the shipment of the correct doors. Except for the delay, the job was done well and we are very happy with the doors.

This was a fine job and I have no complaints. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The garage door works like a dream. I would say that Lowe's people are very skillful. They came on time and they were professional, neat, and courteous.

Payless Garage Doors

Wow! Great response! I called and left a message at 7a and was called back within the hour, and had Victor at my home exactly when promised. He was very polite, professional and completed the garage door spring repair in about 30 minutes. The price was very reasonable for two springs and service time. I will definitely use them again

Perfectly, Rusty the technician was on-time, courteous and professional. He got everything done (and more) quickly and efficiently and I was very happy with the work he did. In fact, he called out an energy wasting issue with the door insulation that I wouldn't have noticed and we have scheduled to have that work carried out next week with the same company. Highly recommended

Initially we had a repairman come look at our garage door. He did not pressure us into buying a new door but there was no guarantee on how long the repair would hold up and it did not seem worth the cost. We decided to get 2 new doors so they would match. The installer was several hours late and a phone call would have been nice. Once he got here he was very good to deal with though. One panel was dented and the weatherstripping had been missed on the order so he had to come back the next day to replace the panel and put the weatherstripping on. He did a good job and we are happy with the new doors

Affordable Overhead Door Company

There was some confusion with this Service Provider over the Big Deal. The guy from Affordable Overhead Door Co said he would try to get me my money back but it had to be through Angie's List. That didn't quite work out. My husband was here when the guy got here and there was something broken which meant I would have to get a new one. So he couldn't do what the coupon said, but I never got anybody back. We used him to replace the garage door later. My husband said the guy did a good job of the replacement

Cedar Park Overhead Doors

Best garage door repair experience in 30 years! Cedar Park Overhead Doors asked a few questions and gave a straight forward estimate of the cost over the phone. The cost consisted of the cost of the springs plus the cost of a service call. Both costs were reasonable for my area. Les was at my house within 2 hours. He was very knowlegable and personable as well. He confirmed the problem, answered all my questions, and told me about local discount coupons would lower the cost. He was quick, efficient, and yet thorough. He installed 2 heavy duty springs with a lifetime warranty on parts and 3 years on labor. He also greased the track and adjusted the sensors as part of his service call. In addition he inspected the rest of the unit to insure that all was in order and I would not need him again anytime soon. I knew the rest of the unit was in great shape. So when he told me so, I knew I'd found an honest, reputable company that I would call again. Les also said I could call anytime of day or night. There is no extra after-hours charge; the cost is always the same. Before he left he went the extra mile and helped me reset my keypad and remotes faster than I could reset one remote. All in all, it was a great experience

The work was completed promptly and on time. The guys even added auto closing hinges to our side gates to protect our dog from escaping (at no charge)! We are very pleased with the work and look forward to using Green Igloo in the future when we decide to purchase new windows and doors.

This was a great experience. I initially inquired via e-mail after reviewing their website and had an idea of what I wanted. Don responded promptly with a quote and made an appointment to come out to measure my doors and show me samples. I had wanted to order the faux wood doors (which are more expensive than the regular fiberglass). Don brought samples and we discussed what would look better on my house. He ended up recommending the less expensive door as it matched my house much better than the faux wood. It took two weeks to order the doors and they came to install within one day of the door delivery. David came out to the house to install and was great. He walked me through the programming of my key pad and showed me operation procedures (including the new safety sensors). I'm very happy with my purchase and the service I received

All Area Overhead
5.0
They had worked on my garage door/opener in the past. Last year my opener's hardware failed and it caused my garage door to start to rip on the upper panel. That was the first time I had them come out and they replaced my opener and braced my garage door. When my door started sounding funny again I called them out, it was easy because they put a sticker near the opener button. This time it was apparent that whole garage door needed to be replaced. The technician(Subino) temporary braced my garage door and warned me that I needed to replace it sooner rather than later. He didn't charge me for the bracing or the service visit. Since I had never priced or replaced a garage door before I called a couple of companies, including my go to Costco. My last garage door was the builder level door, that ripped after 15 years, this time I wanted double steal insulated garage door. All Area Overhead door's price was the cheapest by far, with exactly what I wanted. They were able to install my new garage door the next day! Everything was smooth and as expected. The technician even moved the bracing from my last door to my new door. (This would help with wind resistance, not really needed but there is no harm in having them on my new door. Every experience I have had with All Area Overhead has been a great one

The guys from Handyman Connection, Chris and MIles, arrived on time. They worked very hard and completed the work quickly and efficiently, despite the oppressive heat. They were very knowledgable and friendly, too. We were very happy with both the quality and cost of the work they did. I will definitely call Handyman Connection again, when I need work done

The drain stopped up in our upstairs HVAC unit, the service tech showed us that the heating unit was around 18 yrs old, rusty and would probably not make it through the winter. We knew the units were old and decided to replace both the Heating & AC units with high efficiency units ($6,443). The salesman seemed knowledgable about HVAC systems, energy efficient measures that his company performed and he was up to date on rebates & tax credits for energy efficient improvements. He explained that if we added insulation ($965) & building/duct sealing ($1,453) we would qualify for additional rebates from the utility company & tax credits that would help offset the cost. We agreed because it seemed like we would receive rebates for improvements that would save $$ on our utilities & they were able to get us 0% interest for 12 months. The process took longer than we thought the estimate was provided on 11/3/11 The units were installed on 11/28/11 and the insulation & building/duct sealing was done the following week on 12/7/11 with final inspection on 12/20/11. We understand that part of the delay was because the city inspector had to come out before the work was started & again after all work was complete. We received $200 rebate from Lennox in December, however as of 1/18/12 we are still waiting for the other rebates. Do look over the paperwork & ask lots of questions make sure you understand costs & rebates. Looking back we should have asked more questions & looked at the paperwork more closely. I've gone over the paperwork several times & I'm not sure how much we will be receiving in rebates & from where. Do make sure they are replacing only the equipment you want replaced. We should have noticed that they included a new thermostat, the one they removed was programmable, easier to use & less than 2 yrs old. Don't spend money on things you can do yourself. We also could have used the $1453 towards the cost of replacing our single pane windows instead of paying someone to replace door insulation & seal ductwork. Live and learn I guess. All in all the people we dealt with were courteous and professional the units are working great I'll find out this summer if spending all this money is going to pay off in reduced utility bills

Dave was very professional, explained all of the options and the rationale for his recommendations, and was prompt in providing a bid. The work was scheduled and a few days later, the garage technician, Darrell, came out to the house and the work was done quickly, quietly and with no hassles. I'd definitely recommend Cowart if you want to deal with a professional organization and don't mind paying a little more money for a hassle free transaction
