Recent Review: Remodeling can be a very stressful process. I had an unfortunate experience with a shower replaced by a big box store's contractor so I put off my kitchen project until I felt I had the emotional strength to do it. But I shouldn't have worried. Alex is a very hands-on contractor. Once the supplies were all in and the job was started, he was always available to answer any questions and take care of any problems. His crews are all very experienced, capable and polite. They are perfectionists at what they do. I felt the price was quite reasonable and Alex did not quibble over costs. The electrician upgraded the lights, which I authorized, but Alex didn't charge me for the extra expense. The best thing about Alex was that his main concern was to make me happy. A couple of times there were glitches that I said I could live with. But he told me I shouldn't have to just live with anything. So he took care of everything until I was 100% satisfied. And I am. I have a beautiful new kitchen. I love it! I highly recommend Alex and his "boys."

Recent Review: Rooms were completely remodeled from floor to ceiling. Kitchen ceiling was raised. All existing drywall was removed. New drywall was textured and painted. Attic was reinsulated above kitchen and dining room. New cabinets were installed. Floor and backsplash were installed with porcelain tile. New sink, garbage disposal, and quartz countertop was installed. Ceiling and under counter lighting was added. Pantry door and all wood molding was replaced. All plumbing and electrical work was included. Cabinets, tile, sink, and countertops were purchased separately from contract but for the amount of materials, time, and effort involved in the remodel, I'm very satisfied with the cost and result. Eric is very skilled, knowledgeable, helpful with many of my decisions with color and design. I would definitely use him in any future projects.

Recent Review: Texas Shower Company completed our master bathroom remodel in June 2019, We had the old garden tub taken out and created a walk in shower, also new Quartz countertop, sinks, faucets, flooring. Everything went smoothly and as promised. Very professional and accomodating. They were very good at keeping the demo/debris contained and cleaned up every single day. We were very pleased with the scheduling, and the team that worked on the project was top notch! Pricing was very fair. We would highly recommend Texas Shower Co. to our friends, family and neighbors!

Recent Review: MG Floors is so on top of their game. We went in one weekend to look at floors and after talking with Miranda and Manor, we had selections made and they gave us an estimate of what the whole thing would cost. It seemed reasonable, and after looking around at another couple of places, we could definitely tell that MG Floors was the clear frontrunner in terms of service. They were also willing to give us a discount on the materials because it was a big job. We also need things done in a timely manner because we were having a bunch of work done on our house before we moved in. Mid week the next week I asked Manor to come to our house to measure and then once we gave him the go ahead later that afternoon, his guys were out there the next morning doing demo. We waited until all of our other work had been finished (we weren't as pleased with some of the other tradesmen we used) to have the floors put in and they completed all the work in 5 days. Manor had said originally that it would take 7 days to do it, but since we couldn't push back our move any further, we had to be moving in right after they finished the floors. Jose and his team worked from sunrise to sunset every day (including Saturday) until it was finished. They worked so hard, and everything looks great! We love everything that MG Floors did in our house and we would definitely use them again!

Recent Review: Peter and his team are excellent! He was very punctual both when he came to give the bid and to do the work. He and his team were very meticulous, had all necessary tools, and cleaned up after themselves. I would hire them again and I highly recommend them.

Recent Review: They did arrive late to the appointment due to weather and traffic. However they were knowledgable and explained thier plan of attack. They also warned us about the slight weakening of the outside edge of the granite with the 3/4" and that it could crack under excessive weight (before they cut). They even took the time to suggest some additional support we could install to help offset some weight via the cabinets below the sink. The did a good job of cleaning up the workspace, but as expected, we will be cleaning up granite dust for a few weeks as it all settles. I felt the quote was a bit high, but considering they were willing to come the next day and a Saturday at that, I was okay with paying a little extra. Not to mention they responded within minutes of submitting for quote. Still have not heard back from the other four vedors I requested quotes from.

Recent Review: I cannot say enough GREAT things about Mike Ulmer & A1 Quality Stone — very courteous, knowledgeable & professional service. Mike made great suggestions to keep us within our budget. He manufactured all the countertops (all with under-mount sinks) and backsplashes for our kitchen, wet bar, and 4 bath vanities. He was very conscientious about where to place the seams required for our 14 foot kitchen island & made sure that all the cabinets were perfectly level before & after installing the countertops. Everything was discussed in detail — in advance — & executed to perfection. I HIGHLY recommend this company!
