My wife and I moved out of our home in Round Rock and when we finally got it emptied out I was amazed at the dust and grime that lurked behind furniture and other hard to reach places. We hired XtraMaid to do a move out cleaning to prepare the house for a full paint job. The ladies arrived on time first thing in the morning. They literally worked all day and the results were fabulous. The floors had a sheen. The dust was gone. Everything was super clean and ready for painters to do their thing. Personal Castles came in and gave us a quote for a deep cleaning and cleaning the appliances/walls. We didn't think we were messy people until all of the furniture was out of our condo and SURPRISE! There was quite a bit of work to be done. First off, let me say WOW. I will try to keep this short and sweet. We bought a house after having lived in an apartment for three years, with no professional cleaning down during that time, just the normal daily/monthly duties you should do to keep a liveable space. So I was a little apprehensive/overwhelmed about doing the deep clean myself. I contacted Maids By Melissa and Kenya (the lady with whom I was corresponding) was very quick to respond to any and all questions via email. I was able to make an appointment the following day from the initial estimate request. Although I was unable to be there for the actually cleaning, I left a key for the crew and went the next day to verify the services. That’s where the WOW comes in. By NO MEANS was our house a wreck, but I was weary about certain things getting done (the fridge, the oven, deep scrub of the tub). NOPE. ALL OF IT was sparkling! I was in absolute awe with the outcome. And price? Very affordable. Kenya informed me that it took longer than expected, but only charged me for the quoted estimate, which was very nice of her. I will DEFINITELY recommend and use this company again. They exceeded all my expectations from the very first email to the final walk through. Two thumbs up on my end

The original estimate to clean a 1/2 a duplex was $80. I took Marisel through the duplex and explained exactly what I needed cleaned, which included the walls, since they were very dirty. She said OK and she and her partner began to clean. About 15 minutes into the job, she came to me and said that it was more work than she thought and she would have to charge $120. I said OK. After about 2 hours and 45 minutes, she had to leave quickly to do something. While she was gone, the other worker started packing up her supplies and when she came back they loaded up the car with their supplies. I went into the duplex to see if they were finished and they hadn't even started to clean the walls. I told them that they hadn't finished the job and Marisel insisted that they had worked for 3 hours and they were done. Apparently she forgot to tell me that they charge by the hour, $20/hour for each one of them. I paid what I thought their job was worth, which was $50

The house was extremely dirty and they were unable to finish it within the original 3 hours I purchased. I talked with Gabriel, they had another scheduled appointment right after mine, once they finished that job they came back later that afternoon to finish the work - the house looked great when they were finished. Would definitely recommend
