EASY to set up online AND save $30 when us use the online booking! Got calls from two different crews letting me know they were running a little behind. The three-man crew showed up about noon with a high bed box truck. I showed them the rooms of items to be removed (junk in the garage, three box springs and frames, old dresser and some lamps and random junk) They went right to work and managed to clean out the junk within 45 minutes. All three were friendly, professional and right to the point. I was very happy with the crew and they service they provided. I also like that they recycle, donate and use the items instead of just filling a landfill with more garbage. Highly recommend Junk King out of Cumming! Will use them again!

Researched companies that remove junk on Angie's List. Selected this company. Made an appointment on line for the next day between 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Received a confirmation e-mail immediately and a call from the company about an hour later. They verified the appointment and promised to call 15-30 minutes before the appointment to let me know they were on their way. They called on time, arrived on time, gave me an estimate, loaded the junk once I'd given them the go ahead, and were off. Fast, efficient, and good customer service.

I bought a 'fall cleanup' special through Angie's List. My city garbage collection charges by the piece for large items, so I was hoping to find a less expensive alternative to having the city pick them up. When I contacted Junk King, they weren't sure if all the items I had would fit in the space covered by the special, but if not, they'd charge a pro-rated amount for the additional space needed. The items included a metal fencepost with concrete on the end, some construction debris (old boards, etc.), a cat tree, an outdoor table and four chairs, a bench, and several other items from the garage. Of course, I ended up with more items than I had originally intended to throw out. Junk King arrived exactly on time for their appointment and quickly removed all the items I'd specified from the garage and yard. They even thanked me for placing them all together for them! It turned out that everything easily fit into the space I'd purchased. They were finished quickly and it cost me much less that having the city pick the items up. I would definitely use this service again.

They were fantastic. From the initial conversation with the owner to the guys who came to remove stuff. VERY PROFESSIONAL! The movers were quick to make us feel better about the amount of stuff we had (we were embarrassed and they assured us it was nothing to be ashamed of!). They worked very quickly and utilized our time well. I've never seen a more efficiently packed truck (they use a large box truck and he used every square inch of it!). We went over our estimated time a bit to get the last few things out but the guys were quick to let us know what the extra cost would be. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be using them again!

While unloading is just taking it out. We never milk the clock, it's not our practice. Please be realistic with your expectations. Personal valuables and firearms should be removed from the move also. Expensive pictures or artwork should be boxed prior to our arrival. We don’t insure IKEA stuff or furniture with particle board. These usually break easy. We move WASHER and DRYERs , but the unhooking and hooking up is done by the Customer. If we do it we would be absolved of any leakages-flooding.

Recent Review: Wesley Williams was on time and he was very courteous and considerate. He cleaned out a roomful of junk that had just piled up as well as a lot of trash. He didn't just take it all to the county dump. He recycled what he could and took bags of clothes to the Salvation Army. The price was comparable to other junk haulers, maybe even a little less. But the service and friendliness made working with Wesley a joy. Wesley is a firefighter for Clarke County and he and some of the other firefighters do this in their off time. I was certainly happy to support our local firefighters. I would recommend Haul Away Heroes to anyone who is looking for a friendly, courteous, reliable, ethical service to haul away junk. I have already spoken to Wesley about cleaning out some other rooms for me.
