Brian did a great job on my porch repairs and didn't mind me making revisions to the design of the railing in the middle of the project. We've received numerous compliments both on how good it looks and the quality of the work.

We hired Carpenter & Co to repair wood columns on our front porch. There was significant wood rot to 2 of the 6 columns, which had to be completely replaced. Steve suggested PVC for those columns, as it resists future rot. Once the work began, they discovered that one of the columns did not have the proper structural support. The additional charge was minimal and well worth stabilizing the porch. They also matched the paint (a competitor had told us we needed to supply our own). The job took 2 days and each day the crew arrived on time. I am quite persnickety about my plants in the front yard and they were very careful not to damage the landscaping. The porch was neatly cleaned at the end of each day's work. We are definitely pleased with the work and are considering this company for another project.

After recently purchasing our home in Roswell, we noticed a leak in the bathroom. We called mold specialists who cut out the dry wall and base boards and treated the area with fans. My wife and I agreed it was a good idea to get estimates to repair dry wall and boards in the bathroom, in addition to other miscellaneous issues that were addressed in our home inspection. These issues included: 1) a crack under the bathroom window; 2) wood rot on both sides of the porch where the gutters met the roof; 3) sealing holes and gaps with mortar where the porch floor met the home and was letting in water; 4) issues with the gutter not stopping water from deluging upon the porch floor; 5) wood rot on siding and boards of the chimney; and 4) all windows were painted shut. We also wanted a new light fixture installed. We found Adam of Affordable Carpentry by Design on Angie's List, as well as other contractors to solicit estimates. The day after explaining the issues we wanted resolved, Adam was at our home to perform a comprehensive review of the issues. He took the time to explain what needed to be done to fix the issues and, importantly, what didn?t need to be done. He also made recommendations on issues that needed to be resolved to maintain the roof?s health in the long term. In addition to the issues we initially wanted done, it was apparent that our gutter guards needed to be removed as they were not originally installed correctly. Adam was patient and responsive to our numerous questions. He explained his estimate thoroughly. We signed the contract with Adam on a Monday, and he and his crew were at our home that Wednesday. Adam and his crew were an absolute pleasure in every regard. They would always answer our questions as to the work they were performing, and their progress; they were never dismissive, only polite and personable. As noted above, there were some issues with the porch and rain water going over the gutters and onto the porch. After the work was complete, during the first rain (over two weeks later) we noticed that the water was leaking on the brick façade behind the replaced wood rotted area. I called Adam that afternoon, sent him pictures of the leak and, that following morning, he had his roofer at our home to address the issue, which turned out to be a deficiency in the flashing requiring removal and installation of new shingles. Adam took no additional payment for the repairs. Payment was not accepted unless we were fully satisfied with the result, and he encouraged us to observe the work, which we did. We could not have been happier with the result. The dry wall in the bathroom and under the window is seamless, and the paint job was a perfect match. The wood rot has been eradicated and replaced. There is no leakage in the porch area during the heaviest of deluges. Adam is a consummate professional and we highly recommend him. We felt comfortable every step of the way. While his crew was performing work, we expressed our desire to renovate our master and guest bathrooms, as well as our kitchen cabinetry in the future. His expertise in this realm of contracting is apparent. He understood our vision and his eye for design and wealth of ideas is fantastic. We will definitely be calling on Adam to perform other repairs in the future, as well as our bathrooms and kitchen. We are ecstatic to have found a contractor who is patient, responsive, honest, deliberate and prideful in his work, and a true pleasure.

You can’t go wrong with this highly experienced Company headed by Mr. Eddie Freeman. They can provide all large or small services, from the complete renovation or repair of any or all interior or exterior of properties to small sophisticated repairs. There are very few building and service tasks that they cannot accomplish at an economical expense. I had two large windows with wood rot, one in front and the other, a specialty kitchen window in back,. I contacted several well known contractors to come and evaluate for options to repair. One wanted to replace the front one (double window) but this would entail all of the front ones (3) to be replaced also so as to maintain the building appearance. ( Super expensive option). Other companies offered somewhat similar expensive options. The rear kitchen window would also need to be replaced, but they could not guarantee duplicating the function and design. Mr. Freeman viewed and because of his expertise, suggested repair of the damage to the front window. Although bad, he thought repair was possible with a new sash and accurate wood work. He cautioned me that the rear window however was extremely damaged and very well may need to be replaced. With his extensive contacts he said he could arrange an almost exact duplicate. I accepted his thoughts and quotes and the repairs were accomplished as advertised and indeed the kitchen window was replaced to our satisfaction. Bottom line: Mr. Freeman saved me a significant amount of monies through his expertise and knowledge. ( Not only that, but he is a very likeable person. )

1st of 2 jobs. Started out a little rough with the first crew. Jammie in Project Mgt brought in a 2nd crew to resolve all my concerns. Connor in Sales was great too. Hired for a 2nd job a few weeks later.

It went well. Raul Oliveros arrived by 7:30am. Started working by 8:30am, apparently after going to Home Depot to get supplies. The repairs were complete in about five (5) hours. Although he did a good job, there were a couple of things I did not like. The first thing is the cigarette smoke. This handyman smokes. I hate the smell of cigarette. This is one reason I would have second thoughts about calling him again. I also did not like the different pricing based on paying by check or by cash. By different, I mean that he charged tax, if you write a check. To me, the price is the price, whether paying by check or by cash. One more thing comes to mind that I missed on that day. I did not get the Home Depot receipt because he had other items on the receipt. For purposes like this, I think that the receipt should have only the items for this particular job. That way the customer does not inadvertently pay for items that will be used elsewhere. In reference to the work itself, there have been a couple of hard rains in the past month. My fence has endured through it all. I guess that means the Punch Renovation did okay. They promised that there is a lifetime guarantee on their work. I hope I do not need to find out whether or not that is true.

Very experienced high-end contractor; nice website; really liked his vision. Some work such as pond installation ok, although built 2 feet closer to house cutting view. We had to stop work often because of subs & lack of management: foundation incorrectly laid; red bricks brought in to finish a pink retaining wall; deck beams not screwed to ties; porch tiles buckling up; just to name a few of the on-going issues. Relationship became strained. We had difficulty getting Steve to address our concerns or come meet us; he blames my husband for problems. Workers confided he hated our project. He actually walked off the job. Built driveway extension incorrectly, cutting off needed parking space; said it was good enough. Workers broke sewer line when building front porch; repaired this porch and driveway wall with non-matching bricks. Cut roots on several trees; 2 have died and one is severely stressed. Left broken brick/trash. Says to hire someone else to fix since I still "owed" $2+K.

At the end of each day our porch was left clean and in order for the next day's work. Ceasar was an added gem. His craftsmanship is second to none. He was very helpful in providing ideas that helped to enhance the feel of the porch. We are extremely pleased with our new screen porch and deck and will not hesitate to call Frank for additional work in the future.

The final product was amazing! Bobby Parks paid attention to detail, completed the project on time, and gave us a perfect final product. Our porch is the favorite part of our home! Our home has already been appraised significantly higher because of the porch and everyone in our neighborhood is attempting to replicate our porch.

The company arrived as scheduled, completed prep work which included cleaning, resealing siding, calking of seams, and replacement of porch boards. Then a team of painters swarmed the house over a period of four days painting all exterior surfaces. This included chimneys, porch roof, front porch, trim, and all shutters.

Very unprofessional. After completion of their work will nickel and dime you for any corrections that must be made and will use details in their estimate that an otherwise honest estimator would have pointed out beforehand. Also tried to hide wood repair with putty. You must go over every detail before work begins as if you were doing ther final walkthrough. They are very similar to a dishonest moving company. They don't care to "make it right."

Did an excellent job considering it was outside and very high up. The conditions were very difficult to work under.

Matt repaired several areas surrounding exterior windows that had wood rot. There was a particularly tough repair around a large half-moon window. He was prompt and did a great job. I am very pleased.
