We asked one of our neighbors who installed her plantation shutters because they were so visibly beautiful from the outside and she indicated Castleberry Shutters. When I saw they were on Angie's List we called and to our surprise and delight Tim Castleberry arrived 15 minutes after we called to take measurements for wood plantation shutters in our living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The shutters were installed three weeks later and the price was very reasonable considering the high quality of the shutters. The color match was perfect and the installers were professional and considerate. I have already recommended them to family and plan to have them install shutters in the remainder of our home in the near future.

Tim came to the house, measured the windows where we wanted plantation shutters installed, explained the differences in shutter materials, showed us how the shutter would fit to the window and provided a cost sheet for the job. We had received other estimates, but went with Tim because of the price and, just as importantly, his customer service attitude and we were not disappointed. Tim showed up on the expected day, installed the shutters perfectly and cleaned up the areas when finished. The shutters are beautiful and we look forward to using Tim again in the future for other window treatments.

Owners were responsive from start to finish. Came out to the house shortly after we made our initial inquiry and provided an estimate. About 4-6 weeks later came out to install shutters (they had to be custom made). Installation took one day and the shutters look great.

We originally had six 3 1/2" plantation shutter panels installed by Shutter Works. They were great, and we were happy with the installation, the quality, and the price. We contracted with them again for three more panels. With a promise that the shutters would be ready for installation within 4 weeks, they were not installed until 10 weeks after the order. After the installation, we saw that one of the horizontal slats on a panel was noticeably crooked and not aligned with the other slats. I called Shutter Works and left three messages. In my messages, I even said that I would be willing to work with them on the cost of a replacement panel. I did not receive a call-back. While our initial experience with Shutter Works was good, because I did not receive a call-back and received no satisfaction regarding the less-than-satisfactory-quality panel, I would not use Shutter Works again and would not recommend them.

Our overall experience with Acadia Shutters was excellent. Rob was on time for our appointment, brought many samples, and spent a good amount of time discussing our options with us. None of the standard colors matched our trim, so he took a sample of our paint and was able to match the shutters to our trim. We were promised our shutters in 4 - 6 weeks, and we had them installed in just about 4 weeks after we placed our order. The installer was also prompt and did a great job.

The whole process of dealing with J Ross Creations was a very positive experience. Our house already had some plantation shutters and we wanted to match those. Justin and Nova were very good about communicating, always quick to respond to any questions and keeping us up-to-date with the production facility's progress. The new shutters are beautiful and they match perfectly. Some of my windows were a challenge due to not being perfectly straight, and Justin did a remarkable job of fitting them. He is a perfectionist and really takes the extra time to to an excellent job. I highly recommend J Ross Creations and will be using them again for some other rooms in my house.

Recent Review: Needed to replace 25 year old rolling (security/storm) shutters over exterior French doors. Everyone we dealt with during pricing/ordering process was great (Dale, Randy, Jason Sr.) Took a bit over a month from time of order to installation- shutters are custom made to fit application. Installation crew ( Curtis, Kyle) did an excellent job. Communication throughout ordering process and installation was excellent as well- always arrived on time or called if running late. Based on this experience, we highly recommend Marygrove.

Recent Review: I was at Home Depot in Dothan, Alabama, and noticed that the store offered custom plantation shutter installation. I called to set up an initial appointment for an estimate. It was not Home Depot personnel who would be doing the estimate or installation. It would be outsourced to Blinds by Noon and Shutters Real Soon, from Suwanee, Georgia. The person who provided the estimate was very prompt and professional, and we were provided with a written quote. We were told how long it would take for the shutters to be finished. They were actually finished ahead of schedule. An appointment was scheduled and the shutters were installed. They went up seamlessly, and quickly. The installation was done expertly. The crew was professional, polite, prompt and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The shutters are beautiful. The quality is amazing. They are not flimsy in any way. Very substantial. They are extremely sturdy and easy to open and close. The quality is very impressive.The entire experience was excellent. I totally recommend Blinds by Noon and Shutters Real Soon. Recent Review: ABS IS PROBABLY NOT FOR EVERYONE. THEY DON'T HAVE THE BEST PRICE BUT THEIR SERVICE IS GREAT. THEY ARE AN EXCLUSIVE HUNTER DOUGLAS GALLERY DEALER, BUT THEY CARRY OTHER STUFF TOO. THE BEST PART WAS THAT THEY'VE GOT THIS 20/20 GUARANTEE THING WHERE WE WERE ABLE TO SWAP OUT SOME OF THE SHADES THAT WE DECIDED WE DIDN'T REALLY LIKE. WE PICKED A CRAZY COLOR AND IT JUST DIDN'T WORK SO THEY LET US SWAP THEM OUT FOR A DIFFERENT COLOR AND IT ONLY COST ABOUT $100 TO DO IT. THEY'RE PEOPLE WERE VERY POLITE AND REALLY KNEW THEIR STUFF. ON TIME OR AT LEAST CALLED IF THEY WERE RUNNING LATE. THEY ALSO ARRANGED FOR SOME OF OUR WINDOWS TO BE TINTED AND PUT SOME PVC SHUTTERS IN OUR GARAGE THAT LOOK JUST LIKE THE REAL ONES FROM THE STREET.
