I called Majestic to a leak fixed that was in my basement coming from the master shower upstairs. They sent a Mr. James Brewer a Journey Plumber to see to the problem. As he assessed the problem he stated that to replace the joint fittings that were was leaking would be an estimate of $300.00. But he also stated it would be best to see if he tried to repair it first since it was a more logical and less expense alternative avenue. He took apart the drain to the shower and exposed that that the putty around the fitting had rotted and that the drain was lose. He re-puttied the fitting and re-tightened the the drain. After letting the hot water run to about 20 minutes it no longer leaked in the basement. Problem solved! The cost for the job was $89.00 and after applying my $50.00 Angie's List coupon the whole job was at $39.00. I am usually not a Band-Ade sought of guy and tend to replace but it was most refreshing to see that James took the repair approach where as I am sure another company would just said just replace it for the higher dollar amount!

Called on Saturday because of a toilet that was constantly flushing water down the drain and was able to get an appointment for Monday. They showed up on time. Over the phone they will not give you any idea of the cost but will provide an estimate when they arrive which should have been a clue. My wife was present for the visit and had decided to ask them to take a look at the shower drain which was draining sluggishly. They fixed the toilet for $141 with $59 for the part. The charge for snaking the drain was $159. The entire visit took less than an hour and the total bill was $357. I feel the charge for snaking the drain was very excessive since they were already there for another issue. The work quality is fine but would not use again due to high cost.

Recent Review: They were able to remove a metal knife using some needle nosed pliers from my garbage disposal saving me a lot of money on having to replace the unit. He was professional, prompt, punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and the price was fair. They also cleared out a clog that was quite extensive, as well. I will recommend him and use him, again.

Recent Review: The plumbers from Alliance and Drain were at my house within 45 minutes and were able to diagnose what was wrong with our water heater and install a new water heater. Turns out our water heater was 16 years old! They were very professional and gave us several options to chose from. We ended up going with a tank type water heater and the work was completed in less than 2 hours! Very professional team and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family!

He gave two options and explained what those were and how much the cost would be before completing the work. The job to unclog drain was the lesser in money and scope of work; there was no pressure to purchase additional services or more expensive fixes to drain. He found a blockage other then hair and then checked the rest of our drains to be sure there was no clogs further along the system. Sandy noticed another issue and asked if we were aware of problem. We discussed it and felt it was not necessary at this time to repair. We have used Majestic before for Hot water tank, pressure regulator valve and over flow valve and were quite pleased with the knowledge and work ethic of the plumbers sent. We will use this company in the future and recommend them to anyone needing their services.
