Atlanta Central Humidifier Installation

I called them to get more info on the advantages of installing a central humidifier vs using portable ones. I was given excellent info that made me feel confident that having a central humidifier was the right choice for me. They set up an appt to have the installation done within a few days. They arrived right on time and the work was done in a timely manner. I have not had any problems since installation. I called them a few days after the installation with a question and received a prompt response that fully answered my question.

There is no way I can say enough good comments about Dayco. After receiving an excessive quote from my long-time hvac company of $17,100 to replace the ac unit, humidifier, air filter and furnace, I consulted Angie's list and found Dayco. They provided me with an explicit quote detailing 3 qualities of ac, plus separate quotes for a new furnace, humidifier, and air filter so I could compare apples to apples with my first quote. They even included part numbers so I could compare prices on the internet. The owner then walked me through the pros and cons of the 3 types of ac units and told me where my best price break was for efficiency vs cost (the mid-range unit). He further advised that I should not purchase a new furnace, since I probably had 4 - 5 years on my old one. My long-time hvac company had previously told me I needed to get a new furnace since it would be nearly impossible to fit my new ac in the same space with my old furnace. Dayco never even mentioned that a tight fit was an issue. The installers and owner were professional, friendly, courteous and above all, honest. The owner stayed on site the entire job and helped with the install of the unit. I'm hooked on Dayco and plan to switch over to them for my biannual maintenance contract on my ac/furnace units.

THESE PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS THE BEST. THEY MAY BE A LITTLE MORE IN COST, BUT THEY DO THINGS RIGHT. IF A SERVICEPERSON CAN'T DO THE JOB A SUPERVISOR WILL VISIT AND MAKE IT RIGHT.

They were very helpful and did a great job. They were on time, very professional, and the pricing was good. When I called them they were very responsive.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED. THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT WE ASKED. THE PRICE WAS WITHIN THE RANGE OF QUOTES THAT WE HAD RECEIVED FROM THEM AND THEIR COMPETITORS.

These guys were very great at communication and keeping us apprised of the status of everything along the way. They had to order a couple parts (zone control board and humidifier) so in the initial install they installed the furnace and A/C equipment, and a week later came back to finish the zone control board and humidifier. The two people that came out were very professional, and honest. There were many questions that we asked, and they were very knowledgeable. They also came in below other competitive bids.

I was having issues with my upstairs system. I had another company out and told me I needed over $1000 of repairs. I called Envirotech Heating and Air to come out for a free 2nd opinion. The service tech arrived on time (wearing booties) and repaired the problem. It only cost me $63. While he was there, I had him look at my basement to see what it would take to add air. He spent over 2 hours with me going over all my options and answering all my crazy questions. I was amazed how he explained everything to me in terms that I understand. He did a load calculation, and gave me a price to do all we discussed. I agreed to the work and set the appointment for installation THE NEXT DAY!! They came out to my home, covered my belonging to protect them and started working. The job was completed as scheduled. The did a great job! They were very professional in how the install went and how they treated my home and family. I now have a heating and a/c company I can trust.

Everything went beautifully with them. He was extra, extra nice, pleasant, neat, orderly and organized. I intend to call him again. I've told my neighbors about him. He was really helpful and I just really liked him. He's been in business a long time. He was perfect. If I called him with any problems, he would be right back out and fix it. That's worth a lot. He did just what I needed. He did a lot of little things for me. He couldn't have been more professional and yet, he was very relaxed and pleasant. He wasn't stuffy at all. He was very personable. I asked him to leave me some cards, so I could tell my neighbors about him.

I came in at the end of all of this, because they initially dealt with my mom and sister who helped get this all set up by the time I arrived in the house. That being said, I must say that their professionalism and followthrough was amazing and well beyond anything I have experienced in Virginia, where I just moved from. CJ Grant and his team of technicians were extremely knowledgable and courteous at every step of the process. CJ, in particular, was great. He came by multiple times after the work was completed just to make sure everything was perfect and even installed a new humidifier filter himself on what should have been his day off. All in all, although I didn't deal with the transaction itself, I dealt with the work and the company personally and I must say they were superb every step of the way.

Great job. Great work, good price. Found some other problems and gave up options, no pressure sell. Will be our new Hvac company from now on!
