Recent Review: Two person team did an excellent job of explaining the process and the materials to be used on the job and what we should expect. They vacuumed the floors, buffed them to take off the surface wear and vacuumed off the surface dust and applied a water-base poly that did not smell. They used squeegees to smooth the surface and even out the finish. We waited 2 days to walk on the floors even though they indicated that you walk on the floors within 6-8 hours. They were very personable and diligent in their work, The floors are beautiful and have stood up to moving furniture back into the rooms and people and dog traffic!

Recent Review: I met with several different flooring companies to discuss my project. I purchased a condo from 1910, with a patchwork of different flooring work having been done to it over the years. Glen gave me the best impression of everyone that I met with, walking me through the process and discussing how his team would handle various aspects of the project. Because the unit is so old, some floors were original, some were newer, and the condition varied greatly from one room to the next. I wanted the floors to be refinished all at once so that they were all on the same page. Glen's team was prompt and efficient with their work and kept constant communication throughout. We stayed on budget and on schedule, despite the busy time of year for home renovations. I'd definitely recommend Apalachee to handle your floors.

Recent Review: This company was great, the crew worked really well as a team. They were here to work and there was not a lot of down time or idle chatter. In the back bathroom there was a issue where some wall paper was torn as a result of the install, the foreman pointed it out to me, told me to have anyone I would like fix it and send them the bill. They were great to work with and did a wonderful job!

Recent Review: I'm pleased to provide an account of my experience with Eddie and Robert, the owners of Bel Floors. Eddie visited me for a quote within a few days of placing a call. I had received other quotes from Angie's List providers but after talking with Eddie for nearly 20 minutes, I was convinced that his company would be awarded the project. Why? His price was competitive and more importantly, he was extraordinarily thorough. I knew that if he took that much time and effort to discuss a quote, his work would be high calibre. Keep in mind that I asked Eddie to install hardwoods in the master bathroom. I admitted that my choice was unusual, but Eddie told me that he recently had another client request the same. He was flexible with scheduling as I had to coordinate tiling of the shower and bathtub, painting, granite countertops and frameless shower installation. Eddie explained that shoe mold would anchor the room in areas such as the shower and bathtub. He even offered to provide me with the dimensions of the shoe mold so that the tile installer could accommodate for it. Robert and Nick performed the installation. Their attention to detail was evident and Robert was always responsive, keeping me informed about the next steps. The finished product is truly breathtaking. They were able to achieve a near perfect match to the existing stain on the main level of the house and the hallway banister railing. I actually hugged Robert when the job was completed! Regarding the main level, that hardwood flooring was installed by another contractor (not Angie's List) and my husband commented that the work from Bel Floors was far superior. He rarely makes such remarks about home improvements, so he was clearly impressed. And a final note: Eddie called a couple of days later to ensure I was completely satisfied with the job. During that conversation he said, "This isn't just a job to us, it's what we love to do." Passionate, professional and quality driven. What more could one ask for?

The level of professionalism was incredible. They moved furniture, covered things to avoid getting sawdust on them, and required no help from me the entire time. Josip was very profesional, and gave us suggestions and options for our stairs that we had not thought about, and explained everything so we could make an informed decision. Even though the job took longer than expected because the old hardwood was hard to remove because of the glue, they did not rush and made sure the job was done right. Recent Review: German and his team did an incredible job I’m my home. I give him the highest possible recommendation without any hesitation or reservations whatsoever. We had damage that had occurred due to an undetected water leak from my refrigerator. The damage accounted for half our kitchen and we discovered it just before Thanksgiving. German was completely accommodating of our situation and the timing. He worked with us to get an estimate for our insurance that was accepted immediately. He then proceeded to repair our floor by lacing in replacement material. Because we were just heading into the holidays, he did a light sanding so we could make it through the holidays and there wouldn’t be any splinters. He then came back in the new year as soon as we said we were ready and refinished our entire entry level (all hardwood), the stairs and 2nd floor common area. His guys worked so hard and we’re constantly cleaning up. Halfway through the job I asked about redoing our spindles on the stairs and he came up with a beautiful and cost effective solution. Even during the color selection process he was completely accommodating, saying “I want my customers to be completely happy.” The color is so rich and beautiful, I can’t imagine it could have gone better.

Recent Review: The team arrived on time and went right to work. Removed wall to wall carpeting, removed masonite sub floor, installed new sub floor. They installed Somerset hardwood floor in family room. The three man team worked very well together and the floor looks great. This company and Bruno are easy to work with and patient, my wife started with carpeting then changed number if rooms to redo, then switched to hardwood. I will definitely use this company again.
