We decided that we should replace our aging system this year. In the process we called several providers and received estimates from each. Carl Brucker was the only engineer that actually looked at the airflow through our house and made calculations about how large the system should be based on the load of the house. Most providers looked at the amount of return in the basement to size the system, but Carl tracked the returns up through the house to check that there was sufficient air moving from the house into the system. We promptly received a professional individualized quote for our home, with model numbers of each component to be installed. After we selected Brucker HVAC they were able to come by almost immediately to begin the work, they quickly removed our old system, installed the new one, new duct work, dampers, plenums, new lines and a new outdoor unit. They did a very good job of making sure that everything was neat and tidy, which since our system is located in a basement, is somewhat important. We have a split level house which has classically had imbalanced air flow. After the new properly designed system was installed our air flow is much better balanced. Our biggest complaint about our old system was that almost no air seemed to make it up stairs where our bedrooms are. Now we have much better air flow throughout the house, and our new system is extremely quiet, we almost can't tell when it's on. We are extremely happy with our new system installed by Brucker HVAC.

We were very pleased with the professionalism of the technician. He gave us very detailed info about our system and when he discovered that our humidifier wasn't working, he offered two different solutions to fix it, thoroughly explaining the pros and cons of each. I was impressed that the approach he recommended was actually the CHEAPER of the two solutions. He also made notes for the spring inspection, because of a situation he noticed while inspecting the heating.

The process was seamless from beginning to end. They were very thorough, offered us a quote and was flexible on the pricing, and were able to complete the job within a timely fashion. We appreciate the level of service.

Overall good experience. Technician was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The only issue is that I requested service between noon and 4PM, and he didn't arrive until about 5PM. It would have been nice if Empire had communicated that he was running behind; it's no big deal; these things happen. I would definitely recommend Empire for HVAC service.

They got the manufacturer to replace at no charge even though it had been 2 years and only charged for the service call. Very satisfied!

Everything went very smooth from scheduling to installment. They also improved a part of our downstairs system to generate better air flow which they did without additional cost. Overall the experience with comfort control was outstanding.

I needed new HVAC equipment, so I when with the company (Casteel) rated the highest on the Internet (another site, without controls). They also advertised on billboards about their great reviews. I believe they wrote most of those reviews themselves The good news is that they installed good equipment that worked as advised. But they also falsified the final inspection report (by a person who never visited the house, using pictures from before the installation), failed to get a county inspection, ruined a ceiling and a wall, and stopped taking my calls, inexplicably. I have to assume that the failure to get a county inspection means: 1) They failed to do something they should have; or 2) They did not do something they should haven?t; or 3) They did not care enough about the regulations to bother. Perhaps I will never know the real reason. The first time I heard from them was for the semi-annual check up six months later. Not a chance will they ever step foot in my house again.

My downstairs heating unit was coming through the vents, but the air flow was very restricted. I called Peavey and they came out the same day. Michael S. came out to my home and his customer service was excellent! He inspected my heating unit and found out that my air filters needed to be changed. He changed out my filters recommended how often they should be changed and also recommended other services that would be beneficial to me in the future. I was very pleased with his honesty, professionalism and courtesy. I have had nothing but success with Angie's list and it continues on. I would absolutely recommend Peavey for your heating and air services.
