Recent Review: This company did excellent job sanding, stain, and re coating my oak floor. My two other quotes were $4000.00 and $3500.00 and said the job will take 6 whole days to finish, not able to sleep at home. The buff and coat finished in two days , we did not had to book hotel. The owner ( Fred) was there with his 3 men crew through out whole two days. They moved all furniture before and after exactly where they were and shoe molding job was better than previous one. Fred explained every step as they work so I can understand what they are doing. Job well done.

Recent Review: I am thrilled with the work Claudio and his crew did. I had prefinished wood installed to replace carpet in my family room (adjacent to my kitchen/dining area with existing wood. It looked awful (horrible bevel, huge transition, ugly color). I was prepared to hire Claudio to replace the wood with unfinished and refinish my whole first floor. Immediately, Claudio told me that would be a waste of my money - that he could refinish the new wood and remove the transition. I was skeptical, so Claudio arranged a time for a "test" sand. He and his crew spent nearly 2 hours here testing it for my benefit. They also laid several stain colors so I could live with them and choose. All along this process, Claudio was extremely responsive and answered my numerous questions. He was able to schedule me right away. We left town while the work was being done, so naturally we were nervous about what we would be coming home to. We were amazed when we walked in the door. My floors look absolutely gorgeous. We also had them refinish my stairs and handrails (since we didn't have to replace the wood and were below budget). Everything looks beautiful. (FYI The person that recommended them to me has used them twice in the past.)

Recent Review: Couldn't ask for more.... Rudy the manager is such a pleasure to work with. He is very responsive and helped us above and beyond our expectation. His team was extremely professional and the floor looks AMAZING. Will definitely hire him again on our next projects.

Recent Review: The project was a success. We have received nothing but compliments from everyone on the finished project, and the kitchen is so much more functional than before. Derrick was reasonable in price, timeline, and allowing us to things like demo and painting, etc. to save on cost. He showed up on time (early every morning) every day, and he and his crew worked diligently throughout the day. They were polite and well-mannered, with no foul language or lewdness (important as I have young children who were home throughout the whole thing). I don't think they smoked. The kitchen was gutted and the layout completely changed. He installed new plumbing, new electrical, rerouted air ducts, installed a vent hood, new cabinets, sink, etc. The work took about 2 months, which is longer than predicted, but that had to do with the granite countertops being late and not Derrick's schedule. We had only a couple of minor issues, which he came back out and fixed immediately. The first thing he did was build the new deck, which he wisely convinced me to do 16x16 rather than 16x12. Then he realized as he was building the stairs that the normal-width stairs weren't going to look right with the deck, so he made the change to a wider stair, and he was absolutely right. He helped me figure out how to do the tile backsplash so that it looked right with the cabinets, and I am really pleased with his work. Since we didn't employ the services of a designer or project manager, Derrick was essential in helping guide us through the decisions that we didn't know we'd have to make. He was perfectly agreeable to the use of alternative materials like plywood planks we cut for flooring. When it's time to gut the hall bath renovate it, I hope that he is available to do that work, too. The only thing that I wish I had done different, since I was doing the painting, is that I wish that I had said no to MDF and stuck with wood for the shelving. Now that it's all painted, you can't tell the difference, and it looks and functions great, but MDF is much more complicated to paint for a novice. The $30,000 price tag is for the whole project - appliances, cabinets, materials, labor, etc. I don't remember the breakdown.

Recent Review: Daryl did wonderful work, and I cannot recommend him more highly. He finished early and about $200 under the proposal that he gave us. While they were working, he and his crew were very neat, always swept up when they finished for the day. Our house looks fantastic and I'm very glad he was recommended to us.

Glauco and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The work was amazing and I'm happy with how everything turned out. Fair pricing for amazing work.

Recent Review: Excellent!!! Although she was not the lowest bidder, I hired Madelyn for her willingness to work with me on developing the perfect paint colors. Her "eye" for color was excellent. She also provided advice on the imperfections in the front door that would adversely affect the final appearance of the paint. She worked with the developer to resolve that issue. Because of the extra time she took to paint the trim (3 coats instead of 2), she was finishing the job the day I was moving in. She volunteered to clean the hardwood floors (not related to painting) because I was tied up supervising the movers. She went above and beyond from the very beginning until after the job was completed. I recommended her to the real estate agent who is marketing other units in the building. She agreed with my assessment of Madelyn's skills and she has referred her to other owners.

Recent Review: Apalachee responded very quickly to our initial request for pricing. After receiving pricing from a few other companies we decided to attempt finishing the floors on our own in order to save some money. We quickly realized the scope was beyond us. We called Apalachee and they were able to fit us in within a couple days of our request and completed the work by the end of the week. They patched a couple areas to our satisfaction and even repaired some areas we hadn't noticed previously. There was an area of the house that needed structural repair. Apalachee agreed to let us have the area repaired and then they would come back out and complete the work. We called once the work had been repaired and they came out and finished the job within a few days. We were impressed with their work and responsiveness! We recommend others reach out to Apalachee with flooring needs.
