He ended up doing the work for free because he was already in the area and it didn't take long. I would definitely call him again because he was very nice and cleaned up everything.

PATRICK MALONEY PLUMBING & HEATING LLC

In the middle of the install, the plumber assigned couldn't figure out where to attach the in-coming water, so he wanted to drill a new hole through the fiberglass shower liner. Luckily, my capenter caught this before it happened, and I fired the guy.

Rob & Bill removed everything in the old bathroom, (including Sheetrock walls & ceiling), existing shower, bathtub, vanity cabinet, sink, toilet, medicine cabinet, lighting and sub-floor......... They offered two major suggestions that "dramatically" improved the overall quality of the bathroom. 1st) : Modify an adjacent closet, which allowed the installation of a 36" wide vanity, as opposed to the old 24" one. 2nd) : surround the shower area with "tile", instead of a one-piece fiberglass shower partition............. Their Workmanship is "First Class".............

He is absolutely first-rate. He responded quickly to the initial inquiry, provided an estimate quickly, and completed the work on schedule. The bathtub is like new, and you could not tell that there was a bath/shower door there previously. I selected Bath Wise based largely on the consistently positive reviews on Angie's List, and I now see why everyone endorses him so enthusiastically. He also is a very pleasant person to deal with. I could not be more pleased with the whole contact.

I called a number of companies in the area. They wanted to replace the whole thing and their estimates were all in the thousands. This guy came in, he spent three days, took off all the fixtures and reglazed the whole system and it's like a brand new tub in there now. It was extremely inexpensive compared to all the other guys who just wanted to rip everything and put a new system in. Of course it would not match my tub, my toilet and sink so we would have those replaced also. It would have been a mess. This guy was extremely professional, really great to work with and I would recommend him to the world.

GREG MUELLER
5.0
Exceptional!!! Greg and his son Ethan are METICULOUS. Always arrive on time, know what needs to be done for the day and prepare for the next day. We weren't really sure about some of our choices for the tile work, but Greg gave us some great ideas that actually saved us some money on materials and provided the look we wanted. No surprises or extra costs. Price he quoted was what he charged. Cleaned everything up every day and left us with a bathroom we had only dreamed of. He also had some good recommendations for suppliers where we could get the plumbing (Capitol District Supply) and tile (The Tile Shop). This was my first time using Angie's list, but it worked out GREAT and I highly recommend Greg Mueller.

J & S Refinishing

Joe, the owner of the company, performed all the work. Over the phone, he listened to my description of the unit and provided an estimate that was completely consistent with the final proposal. The price he quoted was considerably higher than most of the estimates I had seen on other Angie's List reviews, but since another very highly rated contractor had refused to do the job after seeing the unit (because he felt it was too technically difficult to complete to his standards), I felt that the price was probably reasonable. Joe called ahead to confirm and arrived on the scheduled work day on time at 8:00 a.m., carefully removed newly installed plumbing fixtures and instructed me in how to replace them when the glaze was completely cured, thoroughly and meticulously prepped the unit, masked the entire bathroom, set up ventilation, and glazed the tub/shower, applying a beautiful even coating to all the nooks and crannies and the cramped space next to the toilet. As he worked, he showed me any defects in the original molding of the tub before he applied finish so that I would not mistake them for product application defects (which I truly appreciated). He had estimated that the job would take the entire day to complete, but he worked continuously and was done, packed and ready to leave at 3:30 p.m. He went over the reinstallation of the plumbing fixtures with me again, recommended a matching caulk that I would have to apply when the tub cured 24 hours later, and provided detailed care instructions. Although he finished early, his work was meticulous and he left my bathroom spotlessly clean. In addition, he cooperated with the painting contractors that were spread out right outside the door of my tiny bathroom without complaint. The tub/shower looks brand new, gleaming white, and matches my Kohler sink and toilet. I couldn't be happier with my entire interaction with J&S Refinishing. Joe was pleasant, professional and patient and showed obvious pride in the quality of his work. The finished product was worth every penny.

Bath Fitter

Installer arrived at 9:30 am. Finished by 2:00 pm. I had removed the old fiberglass tub, two weeks before. I ordered a shower pan, that fit the foot print of the old tub. He installed that and a simple seamless surround with a corner shelving unit. I had previously hired a plumber to install a new shower valve. He fit the surround seamlessly around the new valve and the shower pan, to line up exactly, with the existing flooring. Back wall of shower is 45 degrees because of the roof line and he did a wonderful job, lining that up with the other walls. My bathroom has never looked so good! My installer was professional, courteous and answered all my questions, before starting. Great job!
