These guys are the best! I went into the store with a list of 6-7 items. One of the employees asked me if he could help me find something, and I mentioned the items I was looking for. He went around the entire store, helping me select each of the items on my list! He was not only very knowledgeable but willing to provide such outstanding service. Another time, perhaps a year or so ago, I went in for some salt for the driveway. It was a heavy bag, and the person working there volunteered to help me carry it out to my car. And yet another time, an employee helped me select some grass seed (and maybe some other products - it was a while ago, so I can't remember all of the details). She knew her stuff and was extremely helpful. Honestly, this is the best service I have received at any store, ever!! I love this store

Very well. The technician, Mark, was wonderful and synchronized both of our vehicles as well. Would ask for him again if necessary.

Great service. Brought it in Sun. afternoon and they called Mon. as it was done. Very pleasant, polite and helpful people. Gave me verbal, and written, info on getting an alcohol free gasoline for lawn mowers. It' will cut down on problems. Cheap too. Will definitely use again.

  • WELNA ACE HARDWARE II
    5.0
Their prices and competitive. It's a small family owned company. Their customer service is really pretty extraordinary. The people are very knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer to something, they investigate it, and get back to me in a timely fashion. They are also supportive members of the community

The service was great. Owners daughter was easy to work with. Service tech came out and filled our LP for $30.00 and then diagnosed our issue and then sold us the parts to repair our broken water line after a freeze up.

THE JOB WENT VERY POORLY BUT THE HARDWARE STORE MADE US NOT FEEL SO BAD! WE RENTED THE SNAKE FOR A 4 HOUR RENTAL TIME BUT WERE UNABLE TO RETURN IT FOR SEVERAL DAYS AFTER GETTING IT STUCK IN OUR SEWER DRAIN! WE ENDING UP CUTTING OFF THE SNAKE AND RETURNING IT MINUS MOST OF THE SNAKE CABLE! THEY WERE VERY VERY UNDERSTANDING AND CHARGED US A FRACTION OF WHAT WE EXPECTED FOR THE EXTRA TIME AND BROKEN MACHINE

  • LOWE'S

I called Lowe's and they said they perform this service but for a $35 fee that if you end up going with them it would go towards your total costs. When they arrived, they had measured and gave me my estimate. As I was talking to them, they mentioned they have their own company which I could have found by doing a simple internet search. They also mentioned that their company has Hunter Douglass (popular blinds brand), but since they were going through Lowe's, they could only show me this other brand. Lowe's also doesn't provide custom mini blinds (which any other company does). Bottom line, find out the underlying company before deciding to use a store like Lowe's...avoid the middle man!!

  • SETTERGREN HARDWARE

The staff has been friendly ever ytime we've gone in. (We've used them as our hardware store for maybe 20 years.) They know my wife by name, and say, "Hi Pat". They have helped with numerous small and big home repair quesitons. We've gotten lots of free advice. They have also supplied us with names of local contractors and those have worked out well, especially the guy that installed our garage door. Prices are a little more than at big box stores, but that is offset by the advice of how to use the merchandize. And offset also by only walking a little instead of trapsing down long aisles. Settergren's has recently opened two more stores, so is a chain of three. We've only been to the original store on Penn Avenue
