"The suppliers in the area are inconsistent with quality and amount wood delivered, and generally won't stack it unless you pay an extra $50. A full cord (roughly 4ft high x 4ft deep x 8f long) runs about $250-75 un-stacked. If you are a purest when it comes to cord measurement, it is difficult to make a like-for-like comparison with Vermont Wood b/c they sell it by the rack (which is 4ft high x 1.5ft deep x 8ft long)-- basically you'll receive less wood for a higher price. However, if you're tired of splitting and/or stacking; burning unseasoned/green/rotten wood, and cleaning/raking the mess afterwords then this is the deal for you. Grant and his team are punctual; they set it up where you want; the wood quality is excellent and the rack they provide (with cover) is great. I estimate we received enough wood to last three months. Because of the price, we probably won't place another order this season and will revert to local suppliers (ugh), if needed, but we will definitely re-order next Fall. Thanks.&nbsp; <br />

"Spent $240 for 1/2 chord of wood (and two huge bundles of kindling) to be delivered and stacked at my house. The half chord was $150 by itself and the bundles were $15 for each. I called at lunch time for the delivery and it was at my house in less than 4 hours. The delivery guys were very nice and professional. I'm really glad to have a local firewood company I can now trust...

"Over the past winter I noticed a bad water leak inside my fireplace that had saturated the mortar and brick. A inspection revealed that the crown of the chimney was damaged and that water had run down interior of chimney and into fireplace. Pictures were taken of the crown and a visual inspection of smoke chamber with tech showed extensive damage within as well as top rows of fireplace brick that had loosened. I was advised not to use fireplace due to the damage. A new crown as well as a custom cap where installed on the exterior and smoke chamber was relined. Also the first two row of fireplace firebrick were removed and reset. Chimney flues were in great shape and chimney was swept as well. Thanks to Adam who supervised and coordinated the job and to my tech Francis who did all the work required over several days. The job progressed to my satisfaction and the crew were meticulous and clean while doing the work and upon completion with cleanup. Would not hesitate to use them again as they are well informed of the workings of chimney and fireplace.

"Excellent service. Steve came quickly to offer an estimate and to provide us with the service. He offered the best (lowest) estimate. The team was careful and "cleaned" everything; indeed, they did more than I expected, removing debris and cutting off high branches that interfered with cables. They worked fast and efficiently, and seemed to take pride in doing a professional job. After they left, we realized we needed them to complete a form for the insurance company; we contacted Steve and he responded immediately. We will use then again if we need similar services, and plan to recommend them to friends/neighbors.

"All the trees were cut up in easy to handle sections and El Toro's guys stacked neatly in the location of the cuts. Very neat, extra touch that looked great when they were done. They showed up on time every morning. The guys were all gentlemen, very nice. David, the Owner was present the entire time. He worked methodically and safely. He brought in a crane to top the (3) large 150' trees, allowing them to be removed safer and expeditiously. Really liked the way these guys worked. Price was extremely fair - work was excellent. Recommend highly.
