  He?s the kind of guy who when my kids cut down a couple of trees and he was dropping off some firewood, he hopped off his truck and cut the tree up for us for no charge. If we ever have a problem where we have a leak or something, he?s always prompt to get out here and take care of it. They don?t come any better than that. I would highly recommend himshow more

  Then after dumping the face cord load in my driveway they hit me with an unexpected $25 delivery charge which is unfair and a big surprise, then hit me up for a charge to help me stack the wood in my racks.....both were free from other suppliers in the past. Unfortunately my former supplier retired.

  These guys are shady, and ultimately took my money without completing what I paid for. I paid them to remove 2 trees as well as having both stumps ground. They were quick to come cut, but ended up leaving 3-6 inches of the entire tree stump above ground after grinding. It would seem that a professional tree service would be able to grind a stump below ground. After contacting them, I was promised that they would have a crew come and regrind. A month passed and now one showed. After another phone call I was promised that the owner himself would personally come and get the job done the following week. Guess what.... That never happened. Since then phone calls and text messages have gone unanswered and the owner is simply ignoring me. Two months of leading me along. Ultimately I had to fork out more money and have a different company finish the job that I paid Grand Valley Tree Service to do. potential clients beware, this guy is a crook and will leave you out to dryshow more

  Experience with Joshua Schlink Schlink's Tree Service & More 25588 west 9 mile road Southfield, mi 48033(231) 878-3867 We needed to find wood for our daughter and her two children who live a good distance from us (500 miles). We contacted this provider and arranged for payment in form of a check for one cord of firewood. Provider agreed to deliver wood when check was received. We agreed. Check was received and cashed. No wood came. Days later we contacted provider, and was told delay was due to grandmother being sick, had to tend to her in Detroit. Huh? No wood. Next story by Schlink, days later was, grandmother died. This caused further delay because, meant another trip to Detroit. This was last communication from this provider. After repeated attempts to contact this thief by email and phone we received no further response. This is a warning to those of you who are considering to use this thief for services or goods. Make sure you have goods or services up front before exchange of money. In my book once a thief always a thief. If you use this thief for goods or services make sure you keep an eye on him because a thief is a thief and will use whatever means available for self enrichment. Keep an eye on him and whatever valuables you may have which can be absconded by him when you turn your back. I joined Angies List to spread the word that JOSHUA SCHLINK can not be trusted. Use this guy at your own risk. Don't say you weren't warned. I am not the only person who has been scammed by JOSHUA SCHLINK.
