"Beautiful! We were abandoned without notice by our last landscaper after he installed a lawn that is now dead. So lucky to find this crew! Besides the dead lawn, our front yard was a mess with rhododendrons and other flowering shrubs overgrown and a raggedy hedge. Friends Landscapers worked hard and made everything tidy and neat! Typical loads contain oak, ash, maple and beech hardwoods. Standard length firewood is 16 inches to 22 inches length. All wood is well seasoned, air dried for one year or kiln dried
"Outstanding service from Beech Hill firewood. &nbsp;I called them on a Tuesday looking for a quote on delivery of 1/2 cord of kiln dried firewood. &nbsp;After a slight glitch in our initial communication they got back to me on Thursday and offered to deliver our wood the following Friday. &nbsp;They called the evening before delivery to remind us and to make sure our cars would be out of the garage, since we were having the wood delivered into our driveway. &nbsp;They showed up the next day right on time and delivered wood as promised. <br /> The real test of a firewood company is the quality of the wood you get. &nbsp;After a fairly disastrous experience last year with a dfferent supplier who promised well-seasoned wood but delivered wood so green it was months before it would burn properly, I invested in a moisture meter to test samples of this year's wood before accepting delivery. &nbsp;Kiln-dried wood should have a moisture content below 20% to burn clean and hot. &nbsp;Every piece I tested had a reading between 9 and 15%, which is good even for kiln-dried wood. <br /> Better still, the wood was clean and free of bark, dirt, and other useless &quot;byproducts&quot;. &nbsp;This was a nice contrast to last year, when we sorted 2 full yard waste bags of dirt and unusable scraps out of our firewood delivery. &nbsp;What we got from Beech Hill was half of cord of excellent quality wood, mostly in the form of split logs. &nbsp;There were 4 or 5 cubic feel of smaller pieces that make excellent kindling. &nbsp;There was nothing we ended up throwing away, so I definitely feel like we got what we paid for. <br /> Their prices aren't the lowest in town, but the quality of their product is so good that Beech Hill will be our regular firewood supplier from now on. <br />

"Mixed. Good and bad. First job they did was good so I hired them again. The next job I am very dissappointed in and I dont think they are going to fix it ot my liking. now after paying a large sum, Im going to have to do it myself.. They take a long time to come out to quote and then getting the actual quote after they have seen the job ill take another two weeks. I really want a permanent lanscaper but Im not sure that this is going to be the company.

"I called Paul on a cold Saturday morning. He was busy, but fit us in and late in the day he delivered a load of the best kiln dried hardwood I had ever bought. "It went great! Was looking to grow grass and even out our yard. We had uneven spots that needed attention, plus it was hard for us to keep grass growing. We searched around for a company that would be able to help us and came across JL excavation. He came out and was super knowledgeable in what to do and how to go about it. We ended up hiring him, and he was able to spread the right loam out for us, completely level and hydro seeded. My family can now enjoy our beautiful yard and plenty of healthy green grass. Amazing to watch! Punctually and professional. Did a really great job, really appreciated it. Would hire again.

"I recently used ATL Contractors for a spring clean up at my property, they did a very thorough job cleaning out my flower beds, cleaning up debris in my yard (there were lots of twigs, sticks, leaves, etc), line trimming my pathway, and cutting the grass.
