I have worked with carpentry since 2005. I haven't seen a job that was not possible for me to perform for a long time. I can do anything related to carpentry. Walls, roofing, siding, flooring (laminate and vinyl floors especially), trim, finish, cabinets, metal frame, demolition, stairs, and anything else.
There are a few particular things that I am good at and that I have seen lots of people needing help with.
1- Fixing doors and pinpointing the reasons why it was damaged, and if necessary, sharing with the customer so the job will last for a much longer time. I have fixed doors that have been uninstalled or not working properly for years.
2- Finding solutions to insulate the windows, doors, walls, and other parts of the house, generating great savings with heating and cooling, especially over the years. I recently fixed a window that wasn't closing properly for decades, and anyone could feel that a lot of cold was coming from the area. It took me some thinking and tries and errors to get it right. Imagine the cost that will be avoided without even having to change it.
3- Figuring out where the leakings from rain are coming from. I have solved cases that have been unsolved for years, with many people attempting to do with no success.
4- Fixing rotten wood from decks, windows' and doors' cases, stairways, and other parts of the house doing in a way that will last much longer and with the least cost possible, preferably using the minimum of plastic possible.
5- Finding ways to save in all ways possible and giving the best for your money without compromising the quality of the work.
6- Not overcharging the customer and being patient when the job can't be done due to any unexpected issue.
7- Finding faster,safer, and easier ways to do things. The garage behind me on the profile's picture reached to that point on the second day. The first day I worked by myself. The second day, I had the help of three guys.
I can paint and do some jobs related to cement, like sidewalks and tiles. Small plumbing work and small electrical work.
