A Star Wars Nursery

Aurea and Rob Grothe wanted their first child's nursery to be a Star Wars theme, as Rob is a huge fan. However, they wanted something that was also gender-neutral with a clean look, yet fun. They opted for a softer color scheme of mostly white and gray. The parents-to-be incorporated Star Wars bedding and accessories, as well as some hand-crafted elements. These included a Wampa rug made by friends and a DIY Death Star.

A Star Wars Boy's Bedroom for less than $100

Rachel Swartz blogs about her decorating adventures with her family in their 1,000 square-foot trailer. This included a redesigned boy's bedroom with a Star Wars theme.

Swartz creatively made Star Wars-themed bedding by utilizing fabric paint and stencils she downloaded. Replica lightsabers and wood block lettering with classic Star Wars phrases adorn two separate walls. She completed the room with a full-sized wall mural depicting a space setting with droids, using chalkboard paint, metallic paint and chalk.

Read more about Swartz's project and see additional photos of the completed space on her blog, Trailer Trash Treasure Trove.
